"Prêt-à-Porter" (1994)



Presenting, the Vintage 1994 Film "Ready-To-Wear", well known as, "Pret-A-Porter", starring the fabulous Sophia Loren. This film is based around a Parisian Fashion Show, drawing together the top photographers, models, fashion designers, reporters and magazine interviewers to Paris for what is to be one hectic Fashion Week for the characters in the plot of this film. "Pret-A-Porter" is a comedy-drama, based on greed, lust, murder, notoriety and more.

Born In Pozzuoli, Italy, On September 20, 1934 was: Sophia Loren A.K.A. "Sophia Villani Scicolone"
Sophia Loren is known to be an: Italian Actress
An Interesting Fact About Sophia Is That: She is the niece of the Alessandra Mussolini (her maternal aunt), whose father was the fourth son of the Fascist leader Benito Mussolini
Her Parents Were: Romilda Villani & Ricardo Schicolone, a Construction Engineer
Her Father, Ricardo, Refused To Marry Her Mother, Romilda: This led Romilda to be without any support, besides being a piano teacher and an aspiring actress
Eventually, in 1938, Sophia Loren's Parents Had Another Child Named: Anna Maria Villani Schicolone
Sophia's Grandmother Allowed Sophia, Her Mother and Sister To Stay At Her Place: Until Sophia's mother was stable financially, enough to move out
During World War II: the harbour and munitions plant in Pozzuoli was a frequent target. One day during a raid, Sophia running to shelter was hit with shrapnel, where her chin was wounded. After this incident her mother decided to move with Sophia and Anna to Naples to live with a distant relative.
After WWII: Sophia's mother decided to move with Sophia and Anna back to their grandmother's house, where Sophia's grandmother decided to open up a living room pub, selling cherry liquor. 
In the Pub: Sophia was a waitress and washed dishes, Anna was a singer and Romilda played the piano.
At the Age of 14 Years Old: Sophia entered a beauty contest in Naples, she ended up being a finalist but, did not win the contest.
After the Beauty Contest: Sophia enrolled in acting school, where she was selected as an extra in the movie, Quo Vadis, which, launched her career as an actress.

In 1944, Shirley Temple: was signed to a personal four-year contract by David O. Selznick. After this, she appeared in movies such as Since You Went Away and I'll Be Seeing You. After a while, David Selznick eventually lost interest in promoting Shirley Temple. Instead, he suggested Shirley move abroad, gain maturity in her acting roles and even change her name. He warned her that she had been typecast and her career was in perilous straits.
In August 1950, Shirley Decided: to audition for Peter Pan on Broadway, but she didn't get the part. 
On December 16, 1950: She decided to Retire from Film.
On September 19, 1945: Shirley Temple at 17 years old married John George Agar, an Army Air Corps Sergeant.
On January 30th, 1948: She had her first daughter named Linda Susan.
On December 5th, 1950: Shirley Temple divorced John Agar and took custody of her daughter Linda Susan.
On December 16th, 1950: Shirley Temple remarried to Charles Alden Black, Jr., a WWII United States Navy Silver Star and manager of a television station in Los Angeles
On April 9th, 1954: Shirley Temple birthed her second daughter named Lori.
Shirley Temple & Charles Alden Black, Jr.: remained married for 54 years until his death on August 4, 2005.
Shirley Temple Had Her Fair Share In Delving Into The World of Politics.
September Through December 1969: She Was Appointed The Representative of the 24th General Assembly of the United Nations by President Richard M. Nixon.
December 6, 1974 To July 13, 1976, Shirley Temple Was Appointed: U.S. Ambassador To Ghana by President Gerald R. Ford.
August 23, 1989 To July 12, 1992, Shirley Temple Served As: U.S. Ambassador To Czechoslovakia and was Appointed by President George H.W. Bush.

She Had Two Brothers By The Name of: George Francis, Jr. & John Stanley
September 1931, in Los Angeles, California: Gertrude enrolled Shirley Temple into Meglin's Dance School
Shirley Temples Curls Were Inspired By: Mary Pickford, a silent film star (It was her moms idea to do her hair as such)
Shirley's Career Began: in 1932 at the Age of 4 Years Old
In January 1932: Shirley Temple was discovered and signed by Educational Pictures at a talent search hosted at her dance school
The Film That Sent Her Career Souring Was: Bright Eyes
Her Signature Song: On The Good Ship Lollipop was from the film Bright Eyes, which sold 500,000 sheet music copies
